AMANDA RECORDINGS

Found on the Free Music Archive, this album consists of broken shards of pop songs and 1980's breakbeats. The vocals are courtesy of a growling pre-pubescent, who sings, 'concrete nipples, they're so hard, concrete nipples, not made of lard, concrete nipples, rolling in the yard.' since being released on FMA two years ago, the 'Amanda' recordings have gained a cult following. enjoy.

goldmine

the free music archive has sneakily snuck its way into my heart, and if u love music, it'll come prowlin at you too...an exciting music resource, it allows you to research and obtain the music you find at no cost whatsoever.
i'm addicted after one day and have already spent hours pouring over their unending artists, genres, etc. over 10,000 rare, underground, historical, unreleased tracks, available for download completely free of charge. new music is constantly added, and the site is run by WFMU, a nation-wide freeform radio station which you can read about more when you visit and become a member. music varieties include hip hop to experimental to avant-garde to lo-fi to electronic to blues, etc. yay!
